There is generally a lot of thought that goes into your birth plan. What type of birth experience you want to have, medicated or unmedicated, what position you want to labor in, and so much more — but there is minimal preparation into what you should be doing to get your body ready and even less about what your plan should be postpartum.

We have created this program to give women tools to help make the birth process easier on your body as well as allowing for optimal healing postpartum.

THE PREGNANCY BLUEPRINT includes:

  • 5 prenatal sessions

  • 1 postpartum planning session

  • 6 postpartum sessions starting at 2 weeks postpartum


pregnancy sessions

During these sessions we will create a unique program to help prepare your body handle the orthopedic changes that occur to your body as your belly grows and help you prepare your body for labor and delivery specific to YOUR birth plan.


postpartum planning session

During this session we will help you create an environment to allow for optimal healing. We will go over real life expectations, what you will actually need to help your body during the early postpartum period. We will determine how to best set up your home to allow for functional movement and positioning, for diaper changes and feeding your baby, how to get in and out of bed while early in your recovery, and much more to help make your postpartum life less stressful on our mind and body.


Postpartum sessions

During these sessions, we will help you to start to correct the changes that happened to your body during pregnancy, labor and delivery. We will help guide you in the early postpartum period on appropriate progressions to help re engage your core and provide information and guidance on any pains or issues you are having. We will continually perform reassessments to help ensure you are able to re engage your core, correct any postural changes, learn how to lift/hold/carry/change your newborn and siblings in ways to help protect your healing body. We will establish a foundation of strength to help set you up for success as you ease back into exercise.

The Pregnancy Blueprint FAQ’s

  • If you are currently experiencing pain, leaking, pressure or any other complaints we recommend starting sooner rather than later. If you not having any issues we recommend starting mid 2nd trimester, however starting earlier or later is ok as well

  • The set up for visits is not set. We alter the plan specifically for you. Therefore if you are engaging things well and move well maybe we only need 2-3 visits prenatally and then we can use the rest afterward.

  • after your through history and detailed evaluation; we will create a plan for you to work on things in between appointments. There is generally a combination of strengthening, mobility, breathing exercises as well as possible self soft tissue mobilization.

  • You most definitely can! We will go over things you are currently doing and make any modifications if necessary.

  • You most definitely can. Just like each child is different, each pregnancy and postpartum experience is different. Learning how your body is changing this time is important to keeping you healthy!
